Kia ora – Welcome

Thank you for your interest in applying to begin the Bachelor of Natural Medicine or take a Personal Interest course in 2021 at the South Pacific College of Natural Medicine (SPCNM).

Pre-Selection runs from 21 September to 19 October 2020. Pre-Application Forms are due by 5pm on Monday 19 October 2020.

Here’s How it Works…

Our application process is primarily online and involves three stages. Begin by submitting an enquiry form. Please follow the instructions at each stage once you have been given a login for Moodle, our online learning system.

Stage 1: Pre-selection (21 September – 19 October 2020)

First you will fill in an application form and tell us briefly about yourself – you’ll also need to upload some verified identification. Then it’s up to us! The information that you supply to us will be considered and we will let you know whether or not you have been selected for an interview. If you have not been selected for this intake, we invite you to apply again in the future.

Stage 2: Proceed to interview (up to 6 November 2020)

We will outline on Moodle the additional documents you need to submit – English proficiency (if needed), etc. You will also pay the one-off application fee at this point ($100 non-refundable).

Then, our turn again. We will contact you to organise a time for your interview. These will be scheduled on-campus in Ellerslie, Auckland – or online.

NB: Bachelor of Natural Medicine applicants – following your interview, you will be required to complete a brief writing exercise and a basic chemistry test (if you have not previously achieved the prerequisite chemistry entry-level). You will have access to the SPCNM Chemistry Prerequisite Course, if need be, so that you can test your understanding.

After your interview we will notify you whether you have been accepted into the Bachelor of Natural Medicine programme or a Personal Interest course.

Stage 3: Acceptance of Placement – Complete paperwork (by 9 am 16 November 2020)

All applicants will be notified on 11 November 2020.

If you are successful, we will email you an Offer of Place. Complete and submit the required paperwork (including the Acceptance of Place, Student Acknowledgement and Police Vetting Consent Form), etc. by 9 am on Monday 16 November 2020.
